Judge Jeremy Kernodle found that the Treasury overstepped its authority, failing to justify treating all such transactions as inherently criminal.

The Supreme Court issued a temporary order restoring access to abortion medication mifepristone until at least May 11. The one-sentence order, signed by Justice Samuel Alito, paused a lower-court ruling from the Fifth Circuit appeals court, which prevented abortion providers from prescribing the pills by telemedicine and shipping them to patients.
