Flock, a technology company that reads license plates, announced it had completed all issues related to its Texas cease and desist order and is back working in the state. Flock is prevalent in the 817 region and has exploded in popularity -- being used by governments, police departments and private entities like HOAs.

Tarrant County College's Northeast Campus Children’s Center closed last week after a “deeply concerning” incident occurred that police are investigating. “We made the decision based on what we considered the school to no longer meet our TCC standards, and one of those standards included a personnel-related matter,” TCC Vice Chancellor of Communications and External Affairs Reginald Gates said.

Home Depot is ordering all workers to don an apron. Corporate staff will be required to work an eight-hour retail shift each quarter beginning this fall, according to a CEO Ted Decker memo. The move is aimed at supporting in-store associates and enabling corporate staff to better understand their daily challenges. DoorDash requires all its employees, including the CEO, to perform periodic driving or customer service duties.
