Nike closed The Oven, but Artisan Golf made golf clubs from Fort Worth hot again. In August 2016, Nike Golf shut down club manufacturing at its R&D headquarters in Fort Worth. But, for $100,000, two North Texans took control of the property and fanned a new flame in the industry.

Artisan offers 12 different head styles for putters.

Charles Schwab Corp. said it is experiencing temporarily lower net flows of client money as it sees attrition of some retail and advisory clients’ assets while it integrates TD Ameritrade into its business. The company has also stepped back from certain custodial relationships that Ameritrade had offered to institutional clients, Charles Schwab Chief Financial Officer Peter Crawford said.

The Tarrant County Hospital District, selected by county commissioners, last week voted to approve a $1.5 billion budget and a tax rate of 22.4429 cents per $100 of assessed value. The 5 county commissioners instead voted to lower the tax rate to 19.45 cents per $100 of assessed value.

Berkshire Hathaway this week disclosed new investments in three homebuilders, including D.R. Horton, which is headquartered in Arlington. Berkshire said it owned about 5.97 million D.R. Horton shares worth approximately $726.4 million.

Loews Corp. has added another hotel to its portfolio in the Arlington Entertainment District, purchasing the 311-room Sheraton Arlington Hotel, located about a mile from its other properties and north of the Texas Rangers ballpark, according to The Real Deal. The plan is to demolish the Sheraton and build a new hotel and parking garage. Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is under construction across the street from the company’s existing Live! by Loews property.

The Sheraton Arlington Hotel will be demolished by Loews Corp.

Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital in Arlington is open. It is a three-story, 50,800-square-foot complex with medical staff rooms and expansive dayrooms for patients, food services and dining areas, fitness and physical therapy spaces and an outdoor courtyard.

Colliers International facilitated the sale of 12600 Willow Springs Road, a three-story office property in Fort Worth. The seller and buyer are private investors represented by Colliers.

Inc. is out with its annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies, based on % revenue growth over a 3-year period (2019-2022). A number of DFW and Tarrant-based firms made the list. Here are the 10 highest-ranking companies from Tarrant County:
