Lockheed Martin and the F-35 Joint Program Office reportedly have a handshake deal on a contract for the next two production lots of the multi-service, multi-national stealth fighter. TechFW member Barricade Therapeutics, Corp., a bio-pharmaceutical company pioneering solutions for colorectal cancer, has received a $14,005,035 grant from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). The funding will support the Phase 1 clinical development of Barricade’s BT-1501 for advanced cancer patients. It previously has raised $5.9M, including $3M from an earlier CPRIT Seed grant.

The move to California will have no impact on the naming rights of Dickies Arena, said Whitney Blake, a spokesperson for Trail Drive Management in an email to the Star-Telegram. Trail Drive is a nonprofit contracted with the city of Fort Worth to operate the arena. “It is business as usual…” Blake said.
