The union representing American Airlines flight attendants has confirmed an employment verification letter American Airlines gives to some newly hired flight attendants documenting their salary. Seen on Reddit, the letter states that a new AA flight attendant will have a “projected annual salary [of] $27,315 per year before incentives and taxes.”

Donald R. Horton, the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of D.R. Horton homebuilders, passed away Friday. David V. Auld, the Company’s Executive Vice Chairman, was appointed to serve as Executive Chairman. Horton, 74, founded the company in 1991.

Patrick Gottsch, the founder of Rural Media Group, died Saturday at 70, according to the Cowboy Channel's website. Rural Media Group is the parent company of RFD-TV, The Cowboy Channel (which is based in the Fort Worth Stockyards), The Cowgirl Channel and Rural Radio 147. He was in Fort Worth this week for the Women’s Rodeo World Championships, The Kid Rock Rock ‘N Rodeo, and the Professional Bull Riders World Finals.
