Fort Worth-based Presidio Production Company executed definitive purchase and sale agreements to acquire the Canyon Creek assets for approximately $83 million. The transaction is expected to be funded with $60 million in cash and 2,173,913 shares of Presidio equity issued to the sellers, and to close during the third quarter. The wells are estimated to be worth about $100 million based on current production. Will Ulrich and Chris Hammack are co-founders and co-CEOs.
Americold Realty Trust Inc. and EQT, through its EQT Active Core Infrastructure, have a funding agreement to own, operate and potentially develop cold storage facilities in the U.S. Americold, which lists six Tarrant locations, is contributing 12 facilities to the partnership -- about $1.3 billion in aggregated value. EQT will purchase a 70 percent interest and Americold will keep 30 percent and oversee daily management.

Amcor Rigid Packaging USA is planning to cut 56 jobs by July 2 at its factory at 4324 Fleetwood Road in Fort Worth. Trump Media & Technology Group, operator of social-media platform Truth Social, reported first quarter net sales of $871,200, up 6% year over year. The company had a $405.9 million net loss and a $387.8 million adjusted EBITDA loss. The Fort Worth Zoo announced the birth of a healthy, 36-inch-tall, 285-pound male Asian elephant calf named Sam Houston.
