Trinity Metro has hired Anette Landeros as its Chief Strategy Officer, a position created to reflect Trinity Metro’s commitment to taking its innovation and strategic planning to the next level. Landeros has been President and CEO of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Before that, she spent 12 years with the U.S. Department of Transportation in the Office of the Inspector General. She starts in December.
GBT Realty Corp. is developing Burleson Commons, a 50,632-square-foot shopping center. GBT acquired the six-acre land parcel for $2.3 million from Orscheln Farm and Home in August. A 23,256-square-foot Sprouts Farmers Market and 8,000-square-foot Five Below will anchor the center. Completion is projected in June/July 2025.

Tesla stock was up nearly 22% Thursday. On the earnings call, CEO Elon Musk took a victory lap for the record quarter, saying low costs of making a car helped boost margins, and the Cybertruck achieved a positive gross margin for the first time. He said its energy storage business is "growing like wildfire."
