Crossplane Capital has acquired Mooring Disaster Restoration + Commercial Construction. Crossplane partnered with the owners of Mooring, John Scott Mooring and Ben Mooring, to provide operational and financial resources in support of the company's next phase of growth.

Encompass Health plans a free-standing, 50-bed, in-patient rehabilitation hospital in Haslet for those recovering from strokes and other neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions. In addition, the hospital will offer physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Significant stat: With strong output and megadeals with Apple and the Pentagon, Fort Worth-based MP Materials' shares surged to a record high ($78.50) Friday before settling at $75.99, valuing the company at $13.46 billion. The stock price has quadrupled during 2025. 

You’re still alive for the big prize: A Powerball player in Texas won $100,000, just missing the $479 million jackpot, lottery officials said. The ticket matched four winning numbers, the Powerball and the Power Play multiplier. Two other Texas players won $50,000 prizes.

Texas listed Tesla Robotaxi LLC as a licensed entity on its website, marking forward progress in the company's autonomous vehicle plans. The license is necessary under a state law that takes effect September 1 and regulates ride-share operations using autonomous vehicles similar to services using human drivers.
