Holt Lunsford Commercial has started construction on one of the biggest industrial developments in south Fort Worth. Carter Crossing is a speculative logistics park spanning more than 1 million square feet across 83 acres at 6901 Wichita Street.

Bedford-based Legacy Housing Corporation, a provider of community-focused manufactured homes, agreed to purchase the assets of AmeriCasa Solutions and its proprietary sales management platform, FutureHomeX®. AmeriCasa's Chief Executive Officer, Norman Newton, will become Chief Revenue Officer for Legacy Housing. The company also reported a profit of $8.6 million in its third quarter, which was 35 cents per share on revenues of $40.5 million. 

With fewer air controllers and TSA agents, and weather problems in pockets of the country, flying this past weekend was messy. And Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned that air travel delays and cancellations will only spread as the country barrels into the new week. "It's only going to get worse," Duffy said in an interview with CNN. "I look to the two weeks before Thanksgiving, you're going to see air travel be reduced to a trickle."

In a test vote that is the first in a series of required procedural maneuvers, the Senate voted 60-40 Sunday night to move toward passing compromise legislation to fund the government and hold a later vote on extending Affordable Care Act tax credits that expire Jan. 1. It would still need to be debated and passed by the Senate, win approval in the House and be signed by President Trump to bring the shutdown to a close.

The Dallas Stars are “a focus” of an investigation by the Texas Attorney General’s antitrust division into “anti-competitive business practices in youth hockey." The inquiry is “in its early, information-gathering stages,” and follows a USA Today investigation in August that revealed how the Stars “monopolized every level of amateur hockey in Texas, from pre-school to adults.”
