San Marcos-based Noveon Magnetics announced a multi-year supply agreement with General Motors to deliver rare earth magnets to support a wide range of GM vehicle components. Noveon started production immediately and magnet deliveries have begun. The deal gives GM a domestic supplier and offers less reliance on Chinese suppliers. 

Hyundai Motor Company and General Motors announced plans for the first five co-developed vehicles of their previously announced strategic collaboration. Four are for the Central and South American market, including a compact SUV, car and pick-up, and a mid-size pick-up. The fifth is an electric commercial van for North America.

Adom is building the world's first AI native cloud factory for prototyping and testing electronics remotely. It is considering a $229-million headquarters in Fort Worth that includes $15 million in incentives from the city. Read about Adom and founder John Lauer here. 

Spanish newspaper El Pais reported the country has abandoned plans to purchase F-35 fighter jets valued at $7.24 billion from Lockheed Martin.

Affiliates of Enterprise Products Partners executed agreements to acquire a natural gas gathering affiliate of Occidental and to provide Occidental with natural gas gathering and process services of approximately 73,000 acres in the Midland Basin. It is a debt-free transaction for $580 million in cash consideration.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth announced a $223-million, 5-story tower expansion to provide more services and higher complexity care for patients. Two of the patient floors, which will add 64 beds, are expected to open in 2028.

Texas Health Resources is the 2025 recipient of the Fort Worth Chamber's Vandergriff Award, which will be presented during the State of the County luncheon Aug. 21. In memory of former Tarrant County Judge Tom Vandergriff, the award is presented for contributions positively impacting Tarrant County on a national scale. The past, present and future of TCU will be on display in the campus’ Sesquicentennial Plaza, which is scheduled to debut this fall in the Academic Commons.
