According to Texas Scorecard, there could be $14-$16 billion for the Texas Legislature special session to dole out: $3.1 billion in general-purpose revenue remains through August 2027; and the U.S. Congress allocated $13 billion to reimburse states for border security expenses with Texas expected to get the bulk. Additionally, Texas' Rainy Day Fund is projected to reach $28.5 billion by the end of fiscal 2027.
According to a Facebook post by Oleksii Sobolev, Ukraineās Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture, Bell Helicopter is in talks about a production unit in Ukraine. Sobolev said a working meeting with Bell Helicopter had occurred and that the company wants to invest. Interest may be the military helicopters AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom.
Textron, parent company of Bell Helicopter, beat second-quarter profit and revenue estimates helped by strong demand for aftermarket parts and services, commercial aircraft and growth in the Bell unit, specifically the helicopter businesses and the FLRAA program, now known as MV-75.
