Six Flags Entertainment Corporation plans to issue up to $850 million in Senior Secured Notes due 2032 in a private offering targeted at qualified institutional buyers. This move is to manage debt and finance the previously announced merger with Cedar Fair. Any remaining funds are expected to support general corporate purposes, which include working capital and operating expenses.

A unanimous Supreme Court ruled a Texas rancher whose 900-acre property flooded because of nearby interstate construction can seek compensation from the state for damaging his property. A lower court ruling had said no because damages incurred as a result of a public project. The Supreme Court said he has the right to claim what’s known as inverse condemnation and seek relief through state courts, according to Progressive Farmer.

Younger Partners repped seller Windhaven Investments Inc. and buyer Clubwise Finance L.P. on a 9.98-acre, light industrial, infill parcel at 3300 FM 157 in Euless. The sale price was not disclosed and the buyer expects to hold it as an investment. The land’s proximity to D-FW International Airport and access to Texas highways 10 and 183 generated buyer interest.

Spire Realty Group has selected Citadel Partners to exclusively lead leasing efforts of One City Place and Two City Place in downtown Fort Worth. The 19-story twin towers at 300 Throckmorton and 100 Throckmorton total 531,468 square feet.

Westbend South, a 300-unit, seven-story apartment complex, will be built at 1701 S. University Dr., according to a state filing. A parking garage, two lounges, and retail adjacent to the Trinity River are planned. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2026.

Fort Worth-based Sanara MedTech, which focuses on developing and commercializing transformative technologies to improve clinical outcomes, has entered into a $55.0 million non-dilutive, term-loan agreement with CRG Servicing LLC. Sanara received $15 million in gross proceeds at closing and can draw up to $40 million in additional funds, at its option, in two tranches before June 30, 2025.

A Texas ruling that blocked key portions of a law (House Bill 900) requiring booksellers to rate their works for sexual content before selling to schools remains in effect because a federal court decided not to reconsider it.

A federal appeals court stayed a $100,000-a-day fine against Texas, which was found in contempt by U.S. District Judge Janis Jack for violating two of the court's orders in its long-running foster care litigation.

Fort Worth, in partnership with North Central Texas Council of Governments, has been awarded $2 million through the Strengthening Mobility and Revolutionizing Transportation (SMART) grants program. The U.S. Department of Transportation selected Fort Worth and 33 other recipients from 300 requests. The project will pilot low-altitude weather sensors of freight routes used by autonomous vehicles.
