Bellrock Real Estate Partners purchased Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary’s 40‑acre, 376-unit Student Village Apartments and Townhomes community in Fort Worth, and 13 undeveloped acres. The Seminary initiated a strategic plan in 2022 to reduce debt, cut maintenance costs and re-focus on theological education rather than housing management. The Seminary was chartered during 1908 in Waco.
It was a taxing weekend for those trying to keep pace with the talk about tariffs after the Supreme Court ruled against them Friday afternoon. That evening, President Trump used another avenue to announce all tariffs would be 10%. By Sunday, they were 15%. Here is the latest through Sunday. President Donald Trump's threats to enact tariffs on pharmaceutical products imported into the United States could still become reality despite Friday's Supreme Court ruling striking down his authority to impose so-called "reciprocal" tariffs. The pharma tariffs were enacted as part of Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962, which is not impacted by the Supreme Court's decision. Section 232 covers products that potentially threaten national security.

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas issued a permanent injunction enjoining Mansfield from using zoning ordinances to restrict Christian non-profit Arms of Hope from placing clothing donation bins in convenient, popular locations. Steven Strong, 43, of Mansfield, was one of two people sentenced to 20 years in prison for their roles in a scheme to fraudulently enroll individuals in subsidized Affordable Care Act plans. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved an application submitted by TXNM Energy for its proposal to be acquired by Blackstone Infrastructure. The private equity group had agreed last May to buy TXNM for nearly $11.5B in cash, including debt.
