Fort Worth’s Westfork Fitness is moving across the street and doubling its space to accommodate growing demand. Located at 4648 White Settlement Rd., Westfork is owned by Lou Lambert, Chris Reale, and Jason Binzer.

After leaving executive session last week with no announcement, the Fort Worth ISD is expected to announce a decision at tomorrow night's scheduled meeting about the job status of Superintendent Dr. Angelica Ramsey. She has had the job since September 2022. 

After three years, Fort Worth came up $500k short of the $1.9 million needed to fund its proposed Trinity River trash collecting water wheel project ... and it is scrapped. The city, Tarrant Regional Water District, and non-profit Streams and Valleys started fundraising for two water wheels in December 2021.

We’ll leave the light on for you. Motel 6, has been purchased by Oyo, an India-based hotel giant, for $525 million. The new owner said the acquisition was part of its plan for ramping up its U.S. expansion. With 1,500 locations across North America, Motel 6 got its name from its original nightly rate of six dollars.

Daniel Lubetzky will be the first new regular cast member on Shark Tank in over a decade, as Mark Cuban departs the show. Lubetsky founded Kind Healthy Snacks.

Amazon is introducing a Shark Tank-style TV show called Buy It Now during which entrepreneurs will have 90 seconds to pitch their products to a panel of judges that includes celebrities (Tony Hawk and Gwyneth Paltrow) and Amazon execs. Entertainment isn’t necessarily the show’s only objective because Amazon will feature products that viewers can buy on its website.

The Fed’s interest rate cut of 0.5% is a major milestone, but inflation lingers.
